CAR THIEVES
BABY STRIPPED Of FITTINGS TOURER ABANDONED DOWN BANK [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 19. Detectives are investigating the theft of two motor cars. On Saturday night a baby car purchased on Friday was found practically stripped of its fittings and accessories at Buckland’s Beach. - Yesterday the other, a large tourer model, was found abandoned, after it had run over a steep bank at Orakei. The engine was still running, which attracted the notice of a passing cyclist.
