Poolta arrived on Saturday from Westport via Bluff, and will sail tomorrow evening for Oamaru and Timaru. . , Holmlea arrived this morning from Port Waikato, to load and sail this evening for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato via Timaru and LyttelWingatui left Auckland on April 13 for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Oamaru. She is due here to-mor-row evening, and will sail on Wednesday evening for Auckland via ports. Kaimai is due here at midnight from New Plymouth direct, and is expected to sail to-morrow evening for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth via ports. Port Waikato is due here on Wednesday from Wellington, to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Auckland, Tauranga, and Whangarei. Port Whsngarei is due here on Wednesday, and is to ‘load and sail for Timaru, Lyttelton, Picton, and Whangarei. Gale is due from Wellington on Thursday to load for Wellington and Wanganui via ports. Wuipiata leaves Auckland on Inday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due here on April 28. —Overseas.— Australind sailed on Saturday for Brisbane. Hertford is loading for United Kingdom ports via Montevideo and Dakar. She will sail on Wednesday afternoon, and is due at London on May 29. City of Brisbane arrived yesterday from New York via northern ports. She will sail to-morrow for Sydney. Wairuna, from Pacific Coast ports via northern ports, is due here on Wednesday, to sail the following day for Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Fiji, Apia, Papeete, San Francisco, and Vancouver, Ruahine is now due on Wednesday from Bluff, to sail for United Kingdom ports. Brisbane Mam is due from Japan via northern ports on Wednesday, to sail the following day for Wellington, Napier (for wool), and Auckland. _ Hororata is due here from Wellington on April 24, to load for_ Hook of Holland and London. She will sail on April 29, and is due at London on June 19. Cape Horn is due 'here from Vancouver via northern ports on Saturday. Port Hobart left New PJymouth on April 9 for Auckland, Wellington, and Napier, sailing finally on Saturday for London via Panama and Halifax. Port Brisbane leaves Auckland on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers, and is due here on May 3, to sail on May 6 for London via Cape Horn. Port Denison loads at Port Chalmers on Wednesday, and after completing sails the following day for Wellington and Wanganui, en route to Boston, Halifax, Southampton, and London. She will sail finally from Wellington on April 30. Opawa begins Homeward loading at Nelson and is to complete at New Plymouth, Opua, Auckland, Waikokopu, Wellington, and Port Chalmers, and is due back here on May 6, to sail on May 8 for London via Panama, east coast of America ports, and Halifax (Nova Scotia). Port Hunter sailed from London on March 25 for Suva, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and New Plymouth. She is due here about May 10. Tamaroa . left Southampton on April 17 for Auckland and Port Chalmers. She is due at this port about May 30. . Melbourne Star is to leave Liverpool on April 24 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers.

Stockwell is to leave New York on April 30 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND. Wanganella left Melbourne on Aipril 8 for Sydney and Wellington, where she arived on April 14, sailing on r rid ay for Sydney, where she was duo to-day. Awatea left Sydney on April 16 for Auckland, where she is expected on April 20. She will leave that port on April 21 for Sydney, where she is due on April 24. Karepo arrived on Saturday from Lyttelton, to sail to-morrow for Bluff and Westport. Waitaki left Wellington on April 8 for Lyttelton and Dunedin, taking over the Marama’s run. She arrived here on April 10, and sailed the same day for Bluff and Melbourne. She will sail from Melbourne on April 21 for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington, commencing a three-weekly schedule. She is due here on April 27. Waikouaiti left Bluff on April 6 for New Zealand ports. She has loaded at Newcastle and Sydney for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, and Lyttelton, and is due here on Friday.' James Cook is due here on Thursday from Newcastle via Wellington, with cargo from Australian ports. She will sail the following day for Lyttelton and Greymouth. Karetu has been fixed to load at Newcastle on April 28 and later at Port Stephens and Sydney for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, and Lyttelton. Kauri is to load at Edithburg and Adelaide about the second week in May for New Plymouth, Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, and Bluff. INTERISLAND EXPRESS. The interisland express steamer Wahine arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.55 yesterday morning. TRANSPACIFIC MAIL SERVICES. —Northbound.— Niagara left Sydney on March 18 for Auckland, Suva, Honolulu, and Vancouver. She sailed from Auckland on March 23, and was due at Vancouver to-day. Mariposa left Melbourne on March 27 and Sydney on March 31 for Auckland, Suva, Pago Pago, Honolulu, Lo» Angeles, and San Francisco. She arrived at Auckland on April 3, and was due at San Francisco to-day. Aorangi left Sydney on April 16, was duo at Auckland to-day, and will sail to-morrow for Suva, Honolulu, and Vancouver. She is expected at Vancouver on May 7. Monterey leaves Melbourne on April 24 and Sydney on April 28 for Auckland (where she is expected on May 1), Suva, Pago Pago, Honolulu, Los ■ Angeles (May 15), and San Francisco (May 17). —Southbound. — Monterey left San Francisco on March 29 for Honolulu, Pago Pago, Suva, Auckland, and Sydney. She arrived at Auckland on April 16, and was expected at Sydney to-day, Niagara/ left Vancouver on April 12 for Sydney via Honolulu, Suva, and Auckland. She is due at Honolulu on April 21, at Suva on April 30, and at Auckland on May 3, and will sail on May 4 from that port, arriving at Sydney on May 8. HORORATA’S ITINERARY. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Hororata’s leading itinerary has been altered, and she has gone to Wellington before coming to Port Chalmers.
