GOOD SHOOTING UNDER BAD CONDITIONS A shoot was held on the Dunedin Gun Club’s grounds at Green Island on Saturday afternoon. Although the weather conditions were bad, there was a good attendance of members, and some good scores were registered. The eye-opener match of six birds was closely contested, seven competitors scoring possibles. Results:—G. E. Turner, E. P. Graham, R. M'Donald, T. Long, L. Graham, A. Begg, and R. Bruce 6, W. R. Morland, H. Smellie, H. W. Brooks, W. Morland, J. Paterson, P. E. Wood, J. Hutchison, and J. K. Begg 5. The big match of the day (an 18bird handicap) resulted in a tie, S. F. Aburn and H. Smellie scoring posThe shooting was concluded with a nine-bird handicap, which also resulted in a tic. H. Smellie again registered a possible, together with E. P. Graham and H. W. Brooks.
