SESSION CLOSES WITH HEATED DEBATE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyrighl OTTAWA, April 11, (Received April 12, at 8 a.m.) One of the shortest sessions of Para liament closed with a heated debate. Eight Western and Ontario Liberals revolted against the Government’s tariff policy, especially the recent increases m duties on furniture from the United States.

The session was marked by other evidences of dissatisfaction in Government ranks, notably the increases in defence appropriations and renewal of the Anglo-Canadian trade treaty before adjournment. , An address of loyalty to the Sov*. reign was passed.
