TOWN HALL DANCE

The management of the Main Tow* Hall Dance will extend a special welcome to the men of the Australian Navy to-night, and in their ■ honour will feature a fox .trot competition, for which prizes will be given. Two bands—the Mayfair Band of nine players and the Savonia Band of eight players, aided by Mr James M’Farlane, radio vocalist—-will render the tunes of the moment. A special song number, ‘ The Fleet’s in Port Again,’ will be featured. A big flashlight photograph will be taken, in addition to small group photographs. Carnival novelties should lend a gay air to the evening’s enjoyment, and the spectators in the circle should enjoy the spectacle. A special broadcast hai been arranged for listeners.
