CHILD DROWNED IN BATH. A child aged one year, the son of Mrs Nora Clark, of Trafalgar street, Onehunga, was drowned in a bath thi» morning, states an Association message from Auckland. The mo the* bathed and dressed the child abouli 8.30, and went outside, leaving ill playing on the hearthrug. Two girls went into the house with, the intention of taking the child for an outihg, and found it hanging over the side of the bath, with its head and shoulders covered by water. A doctor was called, but resuscitation efforts proved unavailing.
