WOUNDED ON SHOW GROUND Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, April 9. (Received April 9, at 12.30 p.m.) On the Bathurst show ground Robert White, aged 15, who weighs 40 stone, and, who was appearing in a side show as “ Bonny Peter, the pride of Blenheim,” was struck in the neck by a bullet, which, it was alleged, passed through the side-show tent of the “ bullet-proof lady ” into his tent. Peter was taken in a special wagon in which he travels from the show to the hospital, where the authorities were faced with a difficult problem. No bed or lounge was strong enough to cope with his size, and eventually he was made comfortable in a large easy chair. The wound is superficial, and his condition is not serious.
