PREPARATIONS IN DUNEDIN The Electric Power and Lighting Committee of the City Council reports having considered the matter of special lighting for the Coronation period, and it has been decided to include in the scheme the following routes: —Main streets, from Manor Place to Frederick street; Stuart street, from Octagon to Castle street; Rattray street, from Princes street to Maclaggan street. _ In addition to the usual festoons in these streets, which will be varied as far as possible, it is proposed to erect an arch at the lower end of Stuart street, and also to make a special feature of the lighting of the Octagon. The Town Hall building will be flood lighted on much the same lines as previously.
