CHESS MASTER'S VISIT

Mr Lajos Steiner, the eminent Hungarian chess master, will arrive in Dunedin to-morrow afternoon, and during his stay in this city will he the guest of Mr J. B. Dunlop, Roslyn. During his visit, which will until April 15, he will give a series of simultaneous displays in the rooms of the Otago Chess Club, and also a lecture on Thursday evening.

Mr Steiner will be accorded an official welcome to-morrow evening, by His Worship the Mayor, who, at the same time, will declare the chess season opened.
