(Received March 12, at 8 a.m.) The Federal Cobinefc discussed the Freer case as the result of an application from Mrs Frcer’s solicitor for a review of the circumstances. The Prime Minister, at the conclusion, declined to comment other than to say that the position at this stage was unchanged. It was ascertained by pressmen at Canberra that there was a disposition among the majority of members of Cabinet to lift the ban on Mrs Freer when a suitable opportunity is offered to allow her to enter Australia quietly.
