CONCLUSION OF CONFERENCE [Per United Press Association.] TIMARU, March 11. . Mr T. Jordan (Masterton) was unanimously re-elected president of the Now Zealand Municipal Association at the conclusion of the conference to-day. Delegates joined in paying glowing tributes to Mr Jordan’s popularity and as the association’s principal executive and to his steadfastness and determination and the expedition with which he had dealt with the association’s business. Other officers were elected as follow: Vice-presidents, the Mayors of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, and New Plymouth; executive, the Mayors of Napier, Lower Hutt, Sumner, Ashburton, Hawera, Wairoa, and the chairmen of the Auckland Transport Board and the Papatoetoe and Otautau Town Boards. New Plymouth was selected as the venue of the next conference after invitations had been considered from New Plymouth, Rotorua, Auckland, and Palmerston North.
