THE FREER CASE

TO BE DISCUSSED BY FEDERAL CABINET Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, March 10. (Received March 10, at 11.55 a.m.) The banning of Mrs Freer will probably be discussed by the Federal Cabinet to-morrow. Last week the Attor-ney-General (Mr R. G. Menzies) received a letter from Mrs Freer’s solicitor in New Zealand asking for reconsideration of the Government’s decision not to allow her to enter Australia. It is said that Mr Menzies passed the letter to Mr Paterson, who handled the case originally, but when asked whether he would place the question, before Cabinet Mr Paterson denied all knowledge of the letter.
