OTAGO CLUB A foursome stroke handicap was played on the Balmacewen links on Saturday. The competition resulted in a tie between three pairs who returned net scores of 71—viz., A. G. Sime and J. H. M'Dougall, T. B. Ferguson and A. Lucas, and T. C. Tyrrell and W. S. Stewart. The following were the best cards handed in;—■

BELLEKNOWES CLUB Considering the ideal conditions which prevailed on Saturday, the scoring generally in the bogey handicap played on the Belleknowes links was not good, and a score of all-square returned by S Roberts was sufficient ito win. tho runner-up being E.
