IT IS HEREBY NOTIFIED that a COMMISSION has been appointed to inquir# into the matter of the Petition by the Mayor, Councillors, - and Burgesses or the Borough of Green Island for the alteration of the boundaries of the Borough of Green Island by the inclusion therein of all that Parcel of Land situated in the Dunedin and East Taieri District, being part of Section! 60, Block VII., and part Thompson of the said district, commencing at a point on the Main South road, thence in a northeasterly direction along the boundary of the Lower Kaikorai District for a distance of 1,208.7 links on a bearing of 70deg 21min, thence in a north-westerly direction across Thompson street, 8.5 links bearing 340 deg 21min, and 50 links bearing 336 deg 35min along the boundary of Block 11., Township of Abbotsford, for a distance of 1,224.3 links bearing 336 deg 35min, thence in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 1,304.3 links bearing 56deg' 48min, thence in a south-easterly direction along the*' Main!
