DUNEDIN COURSING CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Dunedin Coursing Club was held on Monday evening, Mr H. F. Payton, in the absence of the president (Mr B. S. Irwin), px-esiding over a good attendance of members. Moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, the chairman congratulated the members on their work in erecting the plumpton, but said it was unfortunate that weather conditions were against the successful running of the sport. Mr J. L. Columb endorsed the chairman’s remarks in seconding the motion, which was passed unanimously. It was resolved that a letter of appreciation be sent to the Forbnry Park ’Trotting Club for the use of the park for coursing meetings. A vote of thanks was accorded the retiring secretary (Mr E. R. Brown) and Mr H. F. Payton for the use of his office for meetings. Two new members Were elected. The election of office-bearers resulted:—Patron, Mr A. A. Paape president, Mr B. S. Knight; auditor, Air E. R. Brown : delegate to N.C. Association. Mr T. Richards; committee — Messrs D. Gavsido, H. M’Pherson, A. L. Mitchell, T. Richards, J. L. Columb, C. Bower, and R. Fitzgerald.
