YOUNG ARCHITECTS NOT RETURNING MORE BUILDING SCHEMES URGED [Per United Press, Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, February 16. The conference of the New Zealand Institute of Architects was opened today by the mayor, Mr Beanland. The president, Mr W. Gray Young, said New Zealand students were doing particularly well in Britain, but many of them did not seem to be [returning to New Zealand. Such a situation was to bo regretted, and he suggested that the Government and the city authorities should go into big building schemes to give young men an opportunity.
