PALM SPRINGS
The introduction of three song numbers adds to the enjoyment of ‘Palm Springs,’_ the bright romantic comedy which will start on Friday at the Strand. There is another factor among many which helps to make this very pleasing entertainment—the splendid' acting of each and every member of the cast. Frances Langford, popular radio and screen personality, has the leading role. She sings most takingly the numbers allotted to her, and contrives to look attractive from beginning to end. Her dark locks form an excellent frame for her peculiar and somewhat fascinating style of beauty. The songs in the film are a most engaging girl-in-love song, a pleasing sentimental ditty, and a cowboy ballad that ranks with the best yet heard. There is an unexpected turn in the story in each scene of 1 Palm Springs.' A popular pleasure resort in California, Palm Springs, forms the setting.
