AMERICAN LABOUR LEADER Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright February 15. (Received February 16, at 2 p.m.) The Policy Committee of the United Mine Workers of America, affiliated with the Committee of Industrial Organisation, directed the expulsion of Mr Green, president of the American Federation of Labour, from the Union Committee. It found Mr Green guilty of “ treason—a betrayer of Labour, its principals and ideals.” Mr Green had been a member of the United Mine workers for about 40 years, serving once as secretary and treasurer.
