TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I have carefully read Mr Ikin’s letter in to-night’s ‘ Star _’ without once finding the word “Russia.” I try to keep an open mind on the subject of Spain, but my mind would need to be a vacant one as well if I could accept, as explaining Spain, a letter of some 400 words which never once mentions the word “ Russia.” —I am, etc., M.
