SUNDAY SERVICES
The Rev. W. Allen Stevely will conduct the services at First Church. His subject in the morning will bo ‘ The Wonder of God,’ and at 6.30 p.m. he will speak on ‘ln the Steps of St. Paul.’ The choir wll render the anthem ‘ The Day Thou Gavest.' Mr R. D. Nimmo will be" the organist. The Egv. J. M. Bales, M.A., of ! Kurow, will conduct both services in Knox Church. At St. Stephen’s Church the preacher at the morning and evening services will be the Rev. Thomas Miller. The Christian Endeavour Society will resume on Saturday evening, when the speaker will be Mr Roke, of Abyssinia. Services at Trinity Methodist Church will he conducted in the morning and evening by the Rev. C. H. Olds. The evening subject- will he ‘ Wanted, Help.’ The choir will sing the anthem ‘Hark! the Vesper Hymn.’ Services at St. Kilda Methodist Church are being conducted by the Rev. T. Skuse. His subjects are ‘Pledged Abstainers’ and ‘Hymns.’ Both services at the Dundas Street Methodist Church will be conducted by Student A. K. Fetch. The Rev. James Reid will occupy the pulpit at the Hanover Street Baptist Church. In the morning he will speak, on ‘The Inescapable Self,’ and in the evening he will take as his subject ‘ Does Modern Life Leave Room for Faith?’ The Rev. R. L. Fursden resumes his ministry at the Caversham Baptist Church. The morning topic is ‘ God m the. Light of Calvary.’ At night the subject is ‘Confession and Belief.’ Mr W. G. Hilliker will bo the soloist. Both services of Divine worship at Moray Place Congregational Church will be conducted by the Rev. Professor S. F. Hunter, and" in the evening a solo will be sung by Mr C. H. Olds. To-morrow’s services at the United . Congregational Church, Albany street, will be conducted by the Rev. C. G. Hedley Bycroft. His morning subject will.be ‘A Message of Fear,’ and the evening topic will be ‘An Excellent Prescription for a Happy Life.’ At the Salvation Army Adjutant and Mrs Victor Dick will speak at 11 a.m. on ‘ Do You Know God?’ at 3 p.m., ‘Songs and Their Writers ’; and at 7 p.m., on ‘ Bad Bargains.’ At the Greater World Christian Spiritual Mission the Rev. Gertrude Brooks, will take for her subject ‘Social Justice:: A Vital Message.’ Spiritual clairvoyance and after-circle will follow. All interested invited. * A New Commandment ’ will be Mr D. L. Cumberbeach’s subject at the Spiritualist Church, Radiant Hall, at 6.30. The Healing Centre will meet at 8 o’clock on Monday.
