DIFFICULT TO GET DELIVERY WELLINGTON ENDORSES CANTERBURY COMPLAINT [Per United Press Association.! WELLINGTON, January 29. M There is no doubt at all that Wellington manufacturers, like the Canterbury manufacturers, are handicapped by their inability to secure the delivery of equipment from British manufacturers,” said Mr Nisbet, secretary of the Wellington Manufacturers’ Association, to-day. “ We- have had various complaints from our members of their inability to procure British machine tools and other equipment necessary for their business and of the difficulty in which they are placed by British manufacturers and their agents not being able to guarantee delivery under 12 months.” Mr Nisbet said that members of the association did not regard the position lightly, and that the whole matter would be discussed at a meeting early next week.
