POULTRY PRODUCTION

WAKARI-KAIKORAI FEDERATION SECOND ANNUAL MEETING Since its inception in May of last year, the Wakari-Kaikorai Poultry Producers’ Federation had progressed very successfully, stated the president (Mr A. 0. Goodlet) at the second annual meeting held last evening. The furtherance of egg production within the district was the particular desire of the federation, and this had been maintained and advanced satisfactorily. The primary membership was 21; this had increased to 29 at present. This excellent response had augured well for the success of an annual show, which led to its inauguration in August. It met with gratifying success. Much interest had been displayed in the results of the entries for the Papanui (Christchurch) egg-laying competition, some members scoring excellently. Those present were Messrs A. C. Goodlet (president), E. P. Anderson, S. Roberts, T. Robinson, F. Burnett, J. R. Wilson, 0. M'Kenzie. J. M. Campbell, T. Smith, and J. Still. CORRESPONDENCE. M'Donald (White Leghorns and Minorcas) and C. M'Kenzio (all other poultry).
