COMMUNITY SINGING.

TO THE EDITOR. Siry—'Will you permit me space to suggest to the Community Singing Committee that it would be rendering a rqal service to a great majority of tired, jaded mothers if it were to start its session early this year, just as soon as this epidemic scare has died down. Speaking personally, it was the one bright hour in the week for me, and how I have missed it since the close of the session! lam sure the committee does not quite realise the great amount of joy and pleasure it gives to hundreds of tired mothers who can only spare that hour out of their busy week. With the same leader, secretary, pianist, and such a willing and energetic committee I do think hy making an early start for 1937 it would be a record to be proud of even in a Scotch city. I know I am voicing the opinion of at least a score of my friends who attend these “sings” and thoroughly enjoy them, and never missed one session m 1936. —I am, etc., Sing As We Go. Jnnnoiut 29*
