(Received January 9, at 10.30 a.m.) The ‘ Manchester Guardian’s' diplomatic correspondent says Whitehall regards the Franco-Turkish tension ias a first-rate nuisance at this juncture and considers that Turkey has no case whatsoever:, and is even inclined to think that Prance is over-generous in her attempts to meet the baseless claim. TURKEY WILL NOT RENOUNCE TREATY PARIS, January 8. (Received January 9, at 10.30 a.m.) It is understood that King Fuad told M. Vienot that Turkey did not intend to denounce the Franco-Turkish Treaty.
