SUNDAY SERVICES

The Rev. Professor S. F. Hunter, D.D., will be the preacher at First church. In the evening there will be a soprano solo, ‘ I Know That My Redeemer Liveth.’ Dr Y. E. Galway will be the organist. The morning service at Knox Church will be conducted by Rev. H. A. Mitchell, B.A. In the evening the Dev. D. 0. Herron will speak on ‘ The Rest Which Conies to Lowered Eyes.’ Services will be held in St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church. At the morning service and also in the evening Mr Kenneth Meikle will be the preacher. The Rev. 0. H. Olds will conduct both services at Trinity Methodist Church. In the morning his subject will be ‘ Ebenezer —the Stone of Help.’ and in the evening ‘ God’s Wayfarer.’ At the Dundas Street Methodist Church both services will be conducted by Student A. K. Petch. Rev. B. J. Janies will conduct the morning service at St. Kilda Methodist Church, and Rev. T. Skuse will be the evening preacher. The services at the Hanover Street Baptist Church will be conducted by the Rev. R. L. Fursdon. Both services of Divine worship at Moray Place Congregational Church will be conducted by Mr R. Scott, of Knox College. To-morrow’s services at the United Congregational Church, Albany street, will be conducted by Mr H. D. Austin in the morning and Mr E. Sincock in the evening. Service at the Salvation Army, Dowling street, will take the form of a farewell to Adjutant and Mrs Mahaffie, who have been appointed to take charge of Newton Corps, Auckland. -At the Spiritualist Church, Radiant Hall, at 6.30, Mr W. J. Hutton will be the speaker. He has chosen as his subject ‘ Man, the Creator.’ At 8 o’clock on Monday the healing centre will resume practice. At the Greater World Christian Spiritual Mission the Rev. Gertrude Brooks will speak on ‘ A Unique Experience.’ Spiritual clairvoyance and an after circle will follow.
