Both matches played at Christchurch this summer have been interfered with by rain. In the first rain gave Canterbury a lucky first innings win over Auckland, and in the second Canterbury was deprived of the chance of forcing an outright win against Wellington. SHEFFIELD SHIELD Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, January 5. In the match against Queensland New South Wales in the second innings scored 342 (R. Robinson 143, Marks 59, J.
