RIFLE SHOOTING
DUNEDIN DEFENCE CLUB The Dunedin Defence Rifle Cluh shot the final competition for prizes presented by President W. Bannerman and Efm. 0. G. Miller on Saturday afternoon. There was an attendance of 15, and seven shots (two optional sighters) each were fired at 500 and 600 yards. Weather conditions were dry overhead with a dull light and a variable breeze, which made accurate shooting difficult. The best score at 500 yards ■ was 34 compiled bv W. A, Graham, and at 600 yards 34 made by Captain A. J. S. Cowie. A. J. Robson headed the day’s aggregate with 65. He also waa the winner of the competition. W. A. Graham holds the club’s range badge with a score of 189. Following are the highest scores and aggregates: —
