DISPUTE ABOUT HOLIDAY PAYMENT [Per United Press Association.] GREYMOUTH, December 21. The Liverpool State mine was idle to-day as the result of a dispute regarding payment for the King’s Birthday. The dispute also affects the James State mine. It is understood that the men’s demand for payment was refused by the Minister of Mines. The men went to the Liverpool mine this morning, but returned home. The shiftmen at the James mine are working to-day, but will com© out to-night.
