TOWN HALL DANCE

The strict control exercised by the management of the Town Hall dance is being thoroughly appreciated by the people that attend. To-night the programme will he broadcast by 4ZM. There will be a medley competition, which will include a slow fox trot, quickstep, and modern waltz. A good cash prize will he offered, and the competition will be judged by Miss Brenda Bond and Mr It. Allan, winners of last week’s quickstep competition. There will be the usual distribution of paper hats, masks, blow-outs, squeakers, etc., at supper. An additional item will be a reel by Miss Peggy Black and party. The music will again be supplied by Jack M'Caw and his dance band of eight players, assisted by Mr James MacFarlane singing popular dance numbers through Hogg’s sound system. The words of these numbers will be on the screen. A flashlight photograph will be taken at 9. Tbe doors will be open at 7, and early patrons can dance from 7.15 till 8 o’clock to Hogg’s amplified music.
