Holmglen is due on December 28 from Wellington. She is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato. Waipiata is due from Auckland via ports on Tuesday morning. She is to sail late on Tuesday night for Bluff, and is expected back on December 28 to load for Timaru, Lyttelton, and Auckland. Breeze is due from the north tomorrow, and is to sail on Monday for Wellington and Wanganui via ports. Waimarino is due from Auckland direct about December 27, and is to sail for Bluff the following day. —Overseas.— Waiotapu is now due from the Pacific Coast via northern ports to-morrow. She is listed to sail on Monday night for Port Huon (Tasmania), Melbourne, and Sydney. Waikouaiti left Sydney on Thursday night for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Oamaru. She is due at this port on Wednesday. Pensilva left Ocean Island on December 17 for Lyttelton, _ Eavenshourne, and Dunedin. She is due at Lyttelton about December 28 and Dunedin about December 30. Doric Star is due at Port Chalmers about January 5 to load wool. She is to sail about January 7 for London via Panama. Waters is now in command of the Poolta, relieving Captain H. S. Collier for holidays. Captain B. . B. Irwin has resumed command of the Rangatira, and Captain R. M. Kane of the Wahine. Mr D. R. MThail has been appointed second officer of the Gabriella, relieving Mr I. L. Russell, who has been transferred to the Poolta, relieving Mr B. H. Young for holidays. MARAMA FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company advises that the Marama is due at Bluff at midnight on Sunday from Melbourne via Milford Sound. She is expected -to reach Dunedin on Tuesday morning, and is to sail at night for Lyttelton, Wellington, Bluff, and Melbourne. LONDON SHIPPING. During the week ended October 23, 1271 vessels representing 1,077,769 net register tons, used the Port of London. Of these, 485 vessels (830,505 net register tons) were to and from Empire and foreign ports, and 786 vessels (247,264 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included eight meat cargoes, four being from Australia, one from Iceland, and three from South America, comprising in all 110,000 carcases of lamb and mutton, 129,000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork, rabbits, and sundries.
