GANGER DEGREASING

VALUE OF EARLY TREATMENT AN AUTHORITATIVE REPORT Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, December 17. (Received December 18, at 1.30 p.m.) Cancer, particularly in the middle-age group, in which it is so prevalent, is decreasing, according to Dr F. H. Lacey (chairman of the Medical Board) at the annual meeting of the Christie Hospital Holt Radium Institute at Manchester. He stated that the reporting of early symptoms by the public was improving slowly, but only among the most intelligent. The annual report states that the idea that admission to a cancer hospital means but a few months to live is still too prevalent. It is not substantiated by known facts.
