DISTRICT NURSING

ROSLYN ASSOCIATION At the monthly meeting of the Roslyn District Nursing Association there were present:—Airs H. AV. Bundle (in the chair), Alesdames J. AVJiyte, L. Chapman, J. B. Dawson, A. Chisman, H. Laing, A. R. Falconer, Aliss E. Rutherford, Dr Falconer, Alessrs J. L. Calder, J. M. Dick, J. H. Alatheson, and the secretary. Thanks were expressed to all those friends who had sent parcels of clothing, shoes, jam, etc., and to those who had given donations in money or kind for extra cheer at Christmas. It was decided that the sales of goods be resumed on the first Friday in March. Dr and Airs Falconer gave interesting talks on the system of district nursing in England, dealing particularly with the work of the Queen’s Nurses in Oxford, Leicester, and Northampton. They described the extra training and the duties of these nurses, ana explained the system of payment for their services by people of limited incomes.
