OBITUARY
MRS ARCHIBALD CAMPBELL The death of Mrs Archibald Campbell at Kilmog, Evansdale, during the week removes a lady who was closely associated with the early settlement or the/province. Mrs Campbell, who was born at Edinburgh in 1845, came to Otago with her parents, Mr and Mrs Lunau, in the ship Robert Henderson, in 1860. On their arrival at Dunedm they lived for a period at Cayersham, later removing to Double Hill, Waitati. In 1863 Mrs Campbell married Mr William Topping, of Evansdale, and on his death she married Mr Archibald Campbell, of the same district. She iyas the mother of eight children* of whom sis survive, three of theses— Mr William Topping, of Evansdale, Mr James Topping, of Dunedin, and .Mrs Storey, of Evansdale—being by the first marriage, and three —Mr Archi-> bald Campbell, of Waikato, Mrs Warren, of Evansdale, and Mr Malcolm Campbell, of Dunediij—by the second marriage. The funeral of Mrs Campbell was largely attended on Wednesday by residents of the district in which she had lived for so long. ,
