APPRECIATION.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —May I ask for a few lines to tender thanks to all in connection with the old people’s Christmas party organised by the United Women’s Guild of Dunedin. As one who attended it I can say that everyone present enjoyed himself right up to the hilt. The bill of fare provided would bo hard to beat, and there was an absence of anything like a charity affair. The entertainment was excellent, and all artists were fit for a command performance.—l am, etc., “Digger” Over 60. December 16.
