WORLD'S LARGEST COUPLE AT THE SHOW
Show patrons will have the opportunity of seeing on Friday and Saturday the great African giant, who stands Bft 9in high, and his wife, who weighs 48 stone. The Melbourne ‘ Age,’ writing of the couple when exhibited at the Melbourne Show, stated: “ The _ ‘ biggest married couple on earth,’ weighing 81 stone in the aggregate, are discovered seated on a small stage, looking solemnly at their audience. The husband is gigantic, but the visitor is fascinated by the lady. Every few moments she recites figures of the distance around calves, thighs, waist, and bust, win ' sound more astronomical than anatomical. At this the husband rises to his full Bft 9in, and invites members of the audience to try on his immense signet ring.” Patrons are urged not to miss this outstanding novelty at the show.
