COUNTRY WEEK THE OTAGO TEAM The following team has been selected to play the combined country team on Friday:— Uttley (University}, captain. Badcock (Dunedin). Allen (Albion). Silver (Albion). Robertson (Dunedin). Mills (Old Boys). Dey (Grange). Chettleburgh (Grange). F. B. Kerr (Carisbrook). H. Cameron (Carisbrook). Lambert (Carisbrook). The North Otago Association has advised the Otago Association that it will not be sending a team, and as this will leave an uneven number of teams for the series, the Otago selectors are considering the possibility of securing a team from local clubs to make a fourth. Players who are available are asked to advise the secretary of the association. The following umpires have been appointed:— Wednesday.—No. 1: North Qtago v. Central jOtago, at Logan Park No. 1 (Messrs Haig and Valentine). No. 2: Southland v. South Otago, at University Oval (Messrs Mackersy and M'Kay). Thursday.—Winners No. 1 v. winners No. 2, at Logan Park No. 1 (Messrs Driscoll and Haig) ; losers No. 1 v. losers No. 2, at University Oval (Messrs M'Kay and Cameron). Friday. Representative Visitors’ team v. Otago Representative team, at Logan Park No. 1 (Messrs Haig and M«ay).
