CHICHESTER'S PLANE IN ENGLAND

WELLINGTON, October 15. Chichester and Herrick, the two New. Zealand airmen who left Wellington m Juno for England, have arrived at their destination. They shipped their plane to Sydney, whence they flew to Shanghai, hoping for permission to fly across Russia. This, however, was refused, and they flew to Calcutta, proceeding thence by the usual air route.

LONDON, October 14. (Received October 15, at 10.5 a.m.) The New Zealand airman Chichester and his companion arrived fit. They could not obtain permits to traverse China and Siberia, so flew to India, then followed the usual route.
