AIR FORGE OFFICER SHOT BY SNIPER IRAQ PIPE LINE AGAIN DAMAGED Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright JERUSALEM, August 10. (Received August 11, at 2 p.m.) A Royal Air Force officer was killed and another wounded by an Arab sniper while they were walking to Jerusalem from Gethsemane. The Arab escaped. The Iraq pipeline was again damaged last night and the oil set on fire. Repairs were speedily effected. A percentage of the workers at the Haifa port railways and the Iraq Petroleum Company struck work in face of intimidation ._ Tho authorities are taking precautions to protect the remainder.
Seventeen Arabs were arrested
