INSPECTORS OF FACTORIES TWELVE ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENTS [Special to the ‘ Star.' | WELLINGTON, July 6. Twelve additional inspectors of factories have been appointed to the staff of the Labour Department. Four are to be stationed at Christchurch, on© at Wanganui, one at Auckland, two (including a woman inspector) at Dunedin, and four at Wellington, where there is also to be an additional inspector of weights r*id measures. The Labour Department’s staff has been restricted since 1929, but these appointments, which the Minister of Labour recently mentioned as being contemplated, will bring the staff back to its former strength.
