(Received July. 4, at 2 p.m.) The Tokio correspondent of ‘ The Times ’ says tramp shipping subsidies, including the opening of routes between Western Australia and West Africa, are among the plans for the encouragement of Japanese shipping, which the Ministry of Commerce proposed when Cabinet began examination of plans for administrative renovation and reform which Mr Hirota promised when he assumed office.
