Whyte, Alisses E. Rutherford, E. A. Wilkinson, J. Robertson, Alessrs J. L. Calder and W. J. Davie. Daring the month parcels of clothing, ote.. were received from friends and from the sowing guilds of the local churches. Miss Lambie, Director of Nursing Services for New Zealand, paid avisitof inspection, and expressed satisfaction with the rooms and the arrangements for carrying on the work. Dr Marie P. Buckler sent in her resignation as honorary medical officer owing to her removal to New Plymouth. It was resolved to express appreciation of her services and advice so freely given. As there is not the need at present for a daily supply of soup, some friends have supplied milk to convalescent children who require extra nourishment. Such help is very acceptable. The result of the sales of clothing, etc., held on the first and third Fridays of each month has been quite satisfactory. These sales are for the benefit of all local residents who require such help.
