MISSING STOWAWAY

■>— SAMOAN RECAPTURED [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, June 10. After two days’ liberty the halfcaste Samoan stowaway who escaped from the Aorangi on Monday was apprehended in Queen street by a constable. The man stowed away on the motor ship Cape York at Apia, and was Handed from that vessel at Vancouver. Later lie was put on board the Aorangi at Vancouver to be deported to Sydney, where he was to be transferred to a steamer going to Apia. When the Aorangi arrived at Auckland on Sunday the man was not confined to his cabin, and on Monday afternoon he disappeared from the vessel, which sailed for Sydney the same night. The stowaway will be brought before a magistrate this morning, and arrangements will be made to deport him to Apia via Sydney, probably by the Monowai, which will leave for Sydney on Friday.
