NEW ZEALAND’S NEW CRUISER
PRELIMINARY SERVICE IN MEDITERRANEAN [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 0. 11.M.5. Achilles, which was commissioned as a ship of the New Zealand Division of the Boyal Navy on March 31 last, and has since been completing her refit and carrying out commissioning practices off Gibraltar, is now to lie attached to the Mediterranean Fleet for a period of service before she sails for New Zealand waters. A further announcement will be made concerning her movements, and the date of her arrival in New Zealand when the length of her service with the Mediterranean Elect has finally been decided upon.
