A hedge fire at 88 Mary Hill Terrace on the property of Mr T. L. Fort attracted the attention of the City Fire Brigade at 2.59 this morning. 'When sparks.from a rubbish container ignited the floor of n cistern testing workshop at A. and T. Burt’s at 11 a.m. to-day the City Brigade answered the call. Although the fire had a good hold, the damage was not serious. A malicious false alarm from Magda In street. Tamili, was answered by the City Brigade at 12.8 p.m.
