ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATION The thirteenth annual meeting, of thei South African War Veterans’ Association, Dunedin, was held in the Returned Soldiers’ Association evening, the president (Mr B. Ellis)] presiding over a good attendance.At the commencement of the meeting a motion of sympathy was passed with the members of the Royal Family in the death of King George V., and a motion of sympathy with the relatives of Nurses Monsou and Williamson, Mrs Cairnoy, and Air R. H. Aldworth was also carried. The annual report and balance sheetj were adopted. The election of officers resulted:—* President, Mr B. Ellis; vice-presidents —Messrs E. C. Ha/.lett, T. J. Moreton,; G. F. Smith, A. Duncan, Drs A. F.: Falconer and-E. J. O’Neill; hon. secretary, Dr A. R. Falconer; treasurer, and assistant secretary, Air W. F, Dunne; auditor, Mr F. Evans; committee—Alessrs T. Aitken, 0. Cornish, W. Dobson. W. M'Keich. H. Potter, J. C. Rigbv, .7. Seelye. F. Stone. R.Sm/aton, G. Waldie, R. AI. Aleffan, J. Cairney, J. Thorn, T. Wright, L. R. ; Ellis (all re-elected). It was decided to hold the annual reunion in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Stnarf street, on June 24. It was agreed that,owing to the change of date of the Winter Show, the Vereeniging peace service should be held round the monument at the Oval on dune 21 this yeat in order to allow the presence of a( many country members as possible'.
