NEW JERSEY FOREST SWEPT LIVES LOST AND SMALL TOWNS RAZED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, May 26. One of the most disastrous forest fires in recent years swept Southern New Jersey to-day. At least five fire fighters were killed, one is missing, and a score or more were injured. Of thousands of C.C.C, boys pressed into service three were caught in the flames and killed, while two other workers died of injuries. Fifteen thousand to 20,000 acres of scrub and pine were burnt, and four small towns within the area razed.
