COW THAT TICKED

This is the strangest story yon ever read, but many witnesses declare that it is true. Mr Ezekiel RowhoUom, of Waterford Township, New Jersey, lost his watch an chain from Ids waistcoat pocket while milking Ids cow. Months later he sold the cow to Mr Cesar Syder, a butcher. After slaughtering the animal Mr Syder found the missing watch and chain in its windpipe. The watch was still ticking. It had lost only a few minutes since it disappeared. Mr Syder's theory is that every time the cow breathed she wound the timepiece one notch.
