LEAGUE TREASURER RESIGNS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, April 29. (Received April 30, at 10.15 a.m.) Lord Queenborough has resigned the trcaguryship of the League of Nations Union, which he held for 16 years. He states that the League is no longer a real League of Nations. “I do not see at present that it can finaction as an effective instrument for peace,” he adds.
