ON the Ist MAY there will fall due an instalment of the General Unemployment Levy. The first instalment of the Emergency Unemployment Charge of 8d in the £ on income other than salary or wages derived during the year ended 31st March, 1936, also falls due on the same date. It is essential that a declaration of such income be furnished during May by males (including Natives) who have attained the age of twenty years, and women (including Native women) whose income other than salary or wages is in excess of £SO. Full information and declaration forms are obtainable at all Money Order Offices. Persons who fail to furnish declarations as and when required render themselves liable, on summary conviction, to a fine of £SO.
