Nash and family was held. As the result of the public’s generous support this fund should benefit considerably. An excellent programme was arranged by Air J. P. Ruth, president of the branch, the following items being contributed:—St. Philomcna’s Choir* ‘ The Aleeting of the Waters ’; Air D. Fogarty, song (‘Because’): Alis* Al‘Cready, song (‘ Aly Dear Soul ’);: Aliss Laura Ewart, dance (Irish jig) ;i Aliss Alolly Baker, elocutionary _item;| Air Douglas, song (Alaire, Aly Girl ’);! Air J. Alontagne, song; Signora Stella* ‘ Home Sweet Home ’; Air Les.Stewart, tenor solo (‘ Wander Thirst’); Alaster Eddie Redmond* cornet solo; Air L. Ford, song (‘ Young Tom o’ Devon’); Aliss B. Herlihy* song (‘The Brown Bird’); Air APLelland, song; Aliss Ray Alantell, song (‘ The Gay Parisienne ’); and Air E. White, song. The accompanists for the evening were Airs J. Alontague and Signora Stella. The committee thank* all those who assisted to make thi* function such a success, the artists, programme advertisers, and those who kindly sent donations.
